Dish Network terrible customer service, terrible product, lied about 3 day cancellation clause when I called next day to cancel Littleton Colorado

The very day the installer installed my dish and two receivers we had problems. First, the installer disconnected our cable Internet access. When we called to get it fixed he talked my husband through the reconnecting process. An hour later we noticed our upstairs receive no longer worked. we called Technical Support but were told it would be about 5 days before a technician could come.

I asked to cancel my contract but was told I couldn't. I told the customer rep that I could because contract law requires the consumer be given a 3 day period where they could cancel without any repercussions. The rep told me that this law did not apply to leased equipment, but he would send me a new receiver overnight, which he did. And everything worked fine for a week.

Now, my other receiver has gone bad and they want me to wait 2 days to get it looked at by a technician. The customer service rep was so rude I finally spoke with Lupita Maldonado, from the executive dept, apparantly, and she promised to try to get a technician out sooner, but I have heard nothing.

I have only had Dish Network for 2 weeks and it is terrible. I have put a sign in front of my dish that reads "Dish Network= BIG Mistake". I don't want my neighbors to be suckered in by this dishonest and sleazy business.
