The tech came out to install the service in my house on October 1, 2012. I was unhappy with the installation from the very get go because it was installed in one of the bedrooms and not in the game room as I had requested. Well he stepped on the hot water pipe accidentally and told no one. He left that day and then the supervisor called me to verify if I was happy with the installation. I told him I was not happy with the installation. He stated he would come back to see what could be done. Well he came back and checked the rooms but didnt check the attic to see how the tech ran the cables. Anyway several days later my girls noticed that there was water leaking from the ceiling and because my husband was working we waited till he got home so he could check it out. The water flow had caused a lot of damage. I contacted Dish and told customer service what had happened and they scheduled another tech to come out and transferred me to the claims dept. The claims department filed a claim and stated someone would be contacting me, sure enough they did the following the day.

The next day a second tech came out to fix the installation and we told him what had happened and we told him to go and see what the other tech had done and he did. He stated that he would make sure that its notated in the paper work and that dish would take care of it.

The supervisor that had come out the second time to check the work was the one that came out to do an assessment and take pictures of the house. He stated someone would contact us but no one ever did. I called several times and spoke to a Jake at 936-273-2743 and he stated the person that took the pictures would contact me but he never did. I called the adjuster Bill Isaacs twice and left a voice mail and he didnt return my calls. I then contacted customer service and advised what had happened and the representative stated she would have Mr. Isaacs return my call and he did on October 17, 2012. Mr. Isaacs proceeded to tell me that the field supervisor, the same person that came out to take the pictures and do the assessment stated that this was not their fault. Mr. Isaacs stated he had received the pictures of the damages but that more than likely the claim would be denied. We have not heard anything since.
