let me first tell you, i started working for this place monday (april 5,2010) and today was my last day (april 8, 2010). to say this place is shady and dubious would be conservative at best. this place is a chop shop and a half, comparable to the kind of place you would see in the movie "boiler room". only this place, the lights are f***ed up, the place looks dingy, doors and bathrooms are all f***ed up as well. needless to say, i got a bad feeling right when i came for the interview last thursday, but at the time i put it aside and decided i needed the money. when i started working monday, they told me what i would be doing and it all started to make sense, this place is a scam. it is literally a company ran by con artists for con artists. basically they told me that i would be misleading dish network customers into thinking we are them at first, and then after we get their information go ahead and pitch them directv, hughes net, and ADT. hell even the outside of the building and the logo is made to look similar to dish network(hence "dish1up" lol) even after my first day i still didnt know just how screwed up this place was until i went home that night. before i left, they gave me a homework assignment to do for training(yeah i know right? lol) anyway, seeing as how i didnt have another job lined up i was still taking this job somewhat serious so i sat down and tried to find the answers to the quiz that night. only problem is they didnt give me the pamplet to that had the answers so i tried to find them online. needless to say i didnt find the answers but what i found was much more valuable information about this place. all i did was type in dish1up and idk how many articles on ripoff report i found on this place alone. reading through some of the reports and stories, i decided enough is enough. thank god another company called me up on my resume and i just scored a management position somewhere else bc this place is going nowhere. i played it cool and acted like nothing until i got my new job secured today. i highly encourage anyone who is either thinking about working here, or anyone that is working here: GTFO! this place is bad news! this will be shut down, its just a matter of time.

#3UPDATE EX-employee responds

I found out about this place through a temp agency in Phoenix.  I was told it was $12/hr, but then in person told it was only $8/hr.  Big difference....  Either way I was very excited to interview here, and hopefully land the job.  I was told that I would pretty much be hired as long as I pass a felony background check.  Which I'm pretty sure they do not do since they told me I would start the following Monday after a Friday interview.  That's no time for a background check...  So about a half an before my interview I received a call from the agency explaining that Nate, the interviewer, was out sick, and cancelled all the interviews.  The agency also went on saying that if they want to reschedule they'll be in contact in the next week or so.  Really?  Half hour notice?  Not even to reschedule, but completely cancel the interview.  Place sounds shady right from the get go.  Don't waste your time with Intermounting Staffing or Dish1Up.
