DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY UP FRONT AS A DEPOSIT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!   THEY WILL RIP U OFF  UNETHICAL COMPANY FULL OF GAMES!

UNBELIEVABLE BUT TRUE! This company does business by giving you a proposal, low-balling you, taking a deposit and then bumping up the price. THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY if you don't agree to their bumps.            DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Divine HVAC representative Randall #515 came to my home to give an estimate to Install a new A/C unit on 3/19/2009.  He met with the Homeowners Association Manager, Inspected the area to Install the A/C unit and gave me a written proposal for a completed job of installing a central air conditioning unit for the sum total of $2,100.00. Said installation would only begin upon approval of the HOA for a slab or condensor pad I agreed and signed their proposal and gave them a $400 deposit and Randall #515 signed it also and wrote "upon completion balance due $1700".

On May 9, 2009, Divine's installers showed up and told me the job would cost another $750.00, in addition to the $1700 I would give them upon completion . I declined the increase and they told me that they would not honor the 3/19/09 signed contract and  my deposit would be returned. A month went by and my deposit was not returned. When no check was forthcoming, I called Divine, and I was told the air conditioning unit would be installed for the original price as quoted.

When Divine came again to install the A/C on 6/11/09, instead of installing they brought me a new proposal asking for an additional $1,747.59 in addition to the $1700 I would give them upon completion. This proposal was totally unacceptable to me, and Divine's representative at the time told me, again, that my deposit would be forthcoming and they would not install the A/C unit.

To summarize, the A/C's installation was not done or even attempted and when I called about the refund at the beginning of July, I was told that the checks were only issued at the beginning of the month and I would have to wait till August. But I never received the promised refund check in August.

From September to December, I called many times asking to speak to Thor Jenkins, the owner, unsuccessfully, and visited Divine's  office three times, without being able to see him.  THOR JENKINS, finally, after 9 months, sent me a letter, dated 12/3/2009 in which he speciously alleged that I was only entitled to a $200 refund which he was issuing. THE $200 MENTIONED WAS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS LETTER!  And has not been received as of today 12/16/09.

After receiving THOR JENKINS 12/3/2009 letter I called on 12/7/2009 and inquired about the $200 mentioned in the letter and I was told it had been sent separately from the letter as a money order.  Finally on 12/14/2009 they faxed me  a photocopy of a money order for $200.00, bought 12/10/09 and not made payable to anyone!  NOT SUPRISINGLY THIS WAS NEVER RECEIVED BY ME.

THOR JENKINS speciously alleged, in his 12/13/2009 letter, that section 8 of the signed and agreed to terms and conditions allowed him to keep $200. The signed contract entered on 3/19/2009 makes no mention of any such section 8. Said section 8 first appeared in back of a new proposal, presented on 6/11/2009 for an additional $1747.59, which I rejected and did not sign because Divine was not honoring their original proposal to install the A/C for the additional $1700 I would give them upon completion .

I answered THOR JENKINS  12/3/2009 letter via fax on 12/15/2009, pointing out the above mentioned facts requesting my $400 refund.  He faxed back today 12/16/2009 an angry threatening letter purporting to have me removed as a trespasser if I come to his office.
