Investigate before joining.... this company made all kinds of representations they couldn't confirm. They have a 3 day cancellation policy, "business days" although they count Saturdays. They charged me $2000 for membership and then $555 for annual dues, and when I called on the fourth day, they refused to refund my money. They are a dating club.

The owner said we have 200 members, when I asked how to prove it, she said you can't.

The owner said there are 40% men, when I asked how to prove it, she had no answer.

The owner said the events are great; when I asked to go to one as a guest, she said we don't do that.

and when I asked for references from existing members, she said, we don't give those out!

The owner represented they were a licensed corporation in the State of Califonria... they are not.

Anyway, considering no service was provided, and I called and wrote to cancel four days later, it's a complete rip-off to take $2500 of my money...

First they agreed to the refund... then 2 months later resubmitted the charge to my credit card company!!!

RIP OFF... I am fighting them now... Buyer Beware...

Case resumes

Had to refile charges to collect my judgement as company is unwilling to pay judgemnt because this report cannot be removed. this website is POWERFUL. Small claims court awarded me damages, and mediator asked me to remove this report. As I have learned, that cannot be done, however I did amend it to say case was setttled, as I thought it was. This was not enough for the company. The company has never rebutted any of my claims, just said they have the right to keep my money as more than 3 days passed from sigining of contract to my cancelling contract. That's the part I don't understand. No services were rendered, no cost expended on the part of the company, and I cancelled in good faith, in writing 3 business days later ( they claim 4 cause they work Saturdays!) The point is no services were rendered. Oh well, hope it gets resolved soon.

Today, I was able to resolve the above issue to my satisfaction. As I understand the site will not allow the original report to be removed, due to First Amendment Rights, I want all to know, it was resolved, and I am satisfied.

Didn't you say they have a 3 day policy and you tried to cancel on the 4th day? And why would they give you a member reference? When most people sign up for dating services they generally want it to be private. Would you want someone calling you to ask about your personal dating history?
