The company charged $2500 for couples therapy, erroneous legal advice, misleading information. Paperwork was not completed missing a deadline to file a qualified domestic order regarding a 401k.

Only after $1250 was disputed through a credit card did the office manager call to apologize with numerous excuses why nothing had been done.

Two Mediators were supposed to be present, vacationing was more important and since we had to pay up front, they had no reason to stick to their word. They did manage to take the Divorce agreement my ex and I hammered out and will incorporate that into their program. I had an attorney I had consulted with, when communicating some information to Shirley Pappin she said it was false. It was regarding the marital home and deciding what to do. My ex attempted to refinance and can not because the original divorce decree states it would be sold. Shirley said a Judge would go by status quo and allow my ex to stay. She should let the underwritters know this and they'll probably refinance based on her information.

It took 6 months to complete the 8 sessions due to Dave backing out, Shirley have numerous days off, and Dave And Shirley deciding they would give my ex and I marriage counseling.

The paper work was never prepared as promised and a deadline was missed to file a Qualified Domestic Order regarding a 401K accumulated during the marriage. It wasn't until a dispute was filed with Discover Card to we finally hear from their office manager with several excuses about personal issues causing her to overlook the obligation to my ex and I regarding preparation of legal documents.

Attorneys are governed and sanctioned by the BAR, Mediators should be held accountable for bad business practices as well.
