I had a paid $10/month pro account with DMCA.com for a while now. I used them one time and they really didn't do a thing for me and my protected file was not removed from where I filed the complaint to. In December '15 I decided to cut my ties to the company since they were useless for the most part unless you pay them for their "ultra premium" service which costs big $$. However, their website was completely DOWN and throwing an error for a few days and I could not cancel! They ended up autobilling me for $10 on January 2nd, 2016. I immediatey contacted them and even provided them with screenshots of their website errors/outage and they said they would cancel my account and accounting would provide me a refund.

The PROMISED refund by "Julie" NEVER materialized.

I confirmed my account was indeed fully cancelled on their website, which means I should not be charged, but lo and behold in February 2nd '16 they CHARGED ME AGAIN!  I was tired of dealing with these shady people and immediately opened a Paypal dispute for the February 2nd charge with full evidence and screenshots my account was cancelled, 2 emails stating my service was cancelled and the email promising a refund back in January '16. Paypal took immediate action on this and refunded my money the same day.

I then contacted the DMCA.com again and asked where my January '16 refund was and they stated over and over "I already got my refund" and to "Take it up with Paypal". Then they pasted in the FEBRUARY REFUND information. Obviously these idiots cannot read / have no reading comprehension PERIOD. I again replied that my email is in reference to the promised JANUARY '16 refund NOT the February '16 amount that was already refunded. They did not reply back and I do not think they understand ENGLISH.

I just filed another unauthorized charge report via Paypal against the January '16 charge since they do not seem interested in doing business legally and stealing money from people then providing unintelligent replies from their brain dead cubicle cows.

Do not do business with DMCA!

I finally recieved a refund for both January and February of 2016, each for $10. The refunds were done via Paypal - I'm glad I paid via Paypal as I have serious doubts as to if I would have gotten a refund if done via credit card.

It is good that you cooporated with the Paypal dispute, but I cannot VERIFY if that is true or not since it just shows Paypal making the ultimate "decision" in regards to the dispute.

You broke TRUST with your own customer and believe me TRUST is the one thing you should not be breaking as that will eventually eat away at your company and eventually destroy your credibility.

Not only did you break trust, you showed NUMEROUS TIMES that you do not read any of your tickets. My tickets  were worded extremely CLEAR in regards to which month I was asking for a refund, yet you assumed I was talking about the other month I already had refunded. Shame on you and next time READ what your customers are writing.

I hope you get your site and billing issues worked out, I expected MUCH BETTER from a company such as yours.

Dear client.

I'm a manager at DMCA.com and I'm sorry to hear that we were unable to deliver the services that would satisfy you.

I'm sorry that you didn't find the many features of the product useful for yourself and as per our policy we'll be refunding your money and working with PayPal to make sure that happens correctly.

I'll chat with Julie about the timeliness of our responses to your questions.
When PayPal contacted us about it, we immediately refunded the charge, we have no problem doing that.

If there's more charge's you want refunded, please make the same request through PayPal and we'll cooperate 100%.

If you're still being charged it's probably because there's more than one paypal supbscription and possibly multipe email addresses / accounts. In such instances, we need you to provide ithe extra information so we can connect the dots.

DMCA.com is in the business of helping people with copyright and content issues.

If you have any further problems at all please email me directly at [email protected]

Thanks again.
