DMI AKA Central Clearing House : TX Attempted Rip-off... Same Company, Same Scam, New Address Carrollton Texas
An URGENT NOTIFICATION was received, via standard U.S. Postal, from DMI 2081 Hutton Drive #309, Carrollton, TX 75006-6874. The letter having all the bells and whistles as the other reports I have read on this site. (Penalties and Fines, if delivery of letter is obstructed or stolen.) Once read, I knew it was a Scam. I decided to check out the Company just to be sure and I happened onto the Rip-off Reports Website.
My elderly Mother was the recipant and she said NO MONEY will be sent, tear it up. I have instructed her and her friends over the years that if a company, credit card, Email or prize award letter asks for money ... It's a Scam !!!
We will NOT be sending any money to DMI for the amount of $16.78 for Photograpic equipment (Nippon 35MM Focus Free Camera... etc, etc.) We will NOT be victims.
I wish more public announcements were given to the public, so people would become more aware and less gullible of the multiple spammers and scammers that are out there taking advantage of people, especially the elderly.
