Complaint Review: DMI Central Clearing House

I, too, received one of these URGENT NOTIFICATION notices by mail today and although I knew immediately it was a scam, curiosity led me to investigate DMI on the Internet and was not at all surprised to see numerous complaints posted here, the RIP-OFF REPORT. I'm sure, or would hope, this informative Web Site has saved many consumers from falling victim to DMI's mailers and fraudulent "business" practices.

Some of the posts state they checked the BBB, which reported many complaints against DMI. While the BBB is an excellent reporting agency and consumer advocate, they can't take legal action against DMI, nor initiate an investigation at a Federal level. In order to put an end to DMI's fraudulent practices, any consumer who has fallen victim to this scam, or received one of their "URGENT NOTIFICATIONS" by mail should file a complaint with their States Attorney General. As a resident of Florida, I know our AG takes aggressive action against companies like DMI, and will bar any further attempts to use mailers as a means to perpetuate this scam.  I'm filing a complaint with Florida's AG, and will include the mailer I received today. I will also direct his office to the Rip-Off Report Web Site, so they can take advantage of the information/complaints of the many consumers who were victims of DMI's "promotions." I would strongly suggest others do the same.
