DMUS Financial Services & Consultants Scam, Fake Prize Winnings Eden Prairie Minnesota
I received a letter stating I had won $57,000 from a Readers Digest, Publishers Clearing House, Online Sweepstakes, Internet Games ect, drawing.
I received a check for $3,995.75 that was to cover both administrative taxes and Clearance fees of my winnings, and was told to contact Cindy Tucker at 1-514-651-1743 before November 12, 2008 to claim my prize.
Well, I found this a little hard to believe, so I went online and googled DMUS LLC/DMUS Financial Services & Consultants, and the ONLY thing I found about these people online were reports on this site. Now I can find various tidbits about some shop in a small town of about 1000 people that's really not even very interesting online, but I can find NOTHING about a supposed Financial Service like this? Says only one thing to me, Scam.
I then googled the address of this supposed DMUS Financial Service. 14701 Charlson Road Eden Prairie, MN 55347 ... and found this...
