I purchased a 3 row/tri core full aluminum racing radiator 87-06 jeep wrangler yj/tj 2.4L-4.2L for $159.98 on Jan 17, 2014. I received and had it installed by the end of January. The packaging of the item and the item itself seemed fine and the installation was straightforward. On July 10, 2014 (5 1/2 months) as i was leaving my vehicle, antifreeze was pouring out of my radiator. I discovered the leak was coming from the bottom of the radiator core. The fluid was pooling up on the lip and dripping off at a fast rate.

The radiator is practically brand new, its so shinny it stands out from all the other components in the engine compartment. The radiator core doesn't have a scratch or dent on it, which tells me no rock penetrated the radiator. Which is what DNA MOTORS tried to blame it on. There is something going on inside the radiator. I wouldnt be surprised if its cheap material or even a 3 row radiator as they claim it to be.

I contacted DNA motors inc, and talked to two people, the first person tried to tell me that they only cover products for 14 days, which tells me they are worried about the liability of their products. She transferred me to someone else, because obviously she knew the product they sold me is junk and she really didn’t have much to say. I then talk to a gentleman that also didn’t have much to say other then that he was sorry and that he could not replace my radiator. He tried to blame it on a rock penetrating the radiator core, which is not the case. That’s it, that’s all they had to say. I told him this wasn’t right and that I am out a radiator and a vehicle now. I told him i will be filing a complaint, he told me he understands and that he is sorry.

This company is scam. I did further research on this company, and they have an alias under speed daddy on eBay that handles all their transactions. Which is who I originally went through, but after printing my receipt I notice PayPal said, "You sent a payment of $159.98 USD to DNA MOTOR INC (speeddaddy@live.com)”. I didn’t notice this until after the issue with the radiator. I had looked up reviews for speed daddy not DNA motor on eBay before my purchase, which they seemed fine. I was unaware of the two companies having a connection. Well after I realized the payment went to DNA MOTORS INC. I did a search on them, and the reviews are horrible. The worst part is they are all complaints about their faulty products and how their products only lasted a few months. I hate to know I got scammed, which clearly is what happeded here. This company needs a civil action filed against them. They are corrupt, their products are junk and they clearly dont stand by them.

Hi I myself also bought a aluminum radiator from dna, installed it and from before starting the car up there was a leak in the same area you described, very disappointing that a new unused radiator will leak straight away.
