I will start with my confession of guilt...I know better than to fall for schemes such as Doba, but I was caught up in the moment and accepted their "free trial" shortly after being stricken with "E bay fever". After selling a few of my pieces of my personal musical gear with success, I was eager to find more ways to sell on ebay. I searched around on the net, and there I met the corporate criminal known as Doba.

For starters, this is the 2nd and last time I will fall for a "free trial" of any kind, because they ALWAYS set it up so that you AUTOMATICALLY get billed after the trial ends. These company's make it easy as pie to sign up for the free trial, but harder than Chinese math to un-subscribe! (more about this later). Doba does not warn about this up front!

Days into my trial, I realized that the items were way overpriced and the products flooded ebay more than Phishers! You can't even sell this junk because a million others are trying to sell the same overpriced items (with no success). Example: I tried to sell a computer sound card at 5 dollars above their "wholesale" price. I went way under their "suggested retail price" to get the edge. Later, I received an eBay message from an angry consumer calling me a price gouger. He told me that the same item was for sale on the companies website for $20 less than their so called wholesale price! I thought that I was undercutting to get the edge! I went to see for myself and it confirmed the angry e mailer's claims.

Once I realized how badly I had been scammed, I e mailed DOBA and told them that I would like to end my trial membership and that I wanted to make sure that no billing would occur after my trial. I emailed them multiple times and kept waiting for a reply and I never got one. Sure enough, I was billed about $50 for my next month of so called service from these corporate criminals.

I had to call them to cancel my membership to this mafia like scam and now I fear that I will be billed yet again by these criminals.

Here is the conclusion: Doba is a ripoff. They claim (and probably are) to be a successful business on the fortune 500 charts. My question is...How could you NOT make profit when you scam unsuspecting consumers with your over priced crap and rope people into automatic memberships? Of course they are making huge profits...AT YOUR EXPENSE!!!

Sadly, eBay is in bed with these low lives...because they are making even more money being partners with Doba. Pathetic.

I used Doba for a short period of time, ( free trial,) but was called an offered a deal and i took it, based on the salesperson assurance that their data feed worked on 3rd party web sites . it didn't and I cancelled the service bases on misrepresentation. they kep 100.00  bucks of my money even though I hadn't even finished my free trial.

I looked around for other services and found this one ! and there was no risk involved

If your interested in starting up a new store, or just buying products for an existing one try traderickswholesale.com. they have no start up costs, no monthly fees and dropship for free. and honest to goodness wholesaler and dropshipper/ prices are in line to make money and shipping costs are not inflated/no handling fee either. so you have no investment or risk. you pay for what you sell after it's been sold and you've collected the money. a free storefront can be had at profitsharingauction.com  so I hope these suggestions help you recover your loses the best part no investment no risk so you have nothing to lose

I was lucky enough to cancel before my trial membership ended so I didn't get charged anything. Except now, Doba is constantly calling and harassing me. I originally signed up for the trial on a gpt site, TreasureTrooper. Well now, Doba claims i frauded them, my TT account is suspended, and Doba calls me constantly to sign back up so they can take my money.

Do not sign up for Doba's trial offer on a gpt site or anywhere else!!

laughing at all your lies

Well this was comical. You really should be a journalist with all the spin you are capable of. Where to even start. Lets go right down the list of lies.

You mention they automatically set you up to be billed. Thats true. But then you say this "Doba does not warn about this up front!" LIE. Go look at the sign up again. It says RIGHT NEXT TO THE SUBMIT BUTTON:

"Your free 7-day trial membership will begin when you click Start Membership. If you are enjoying Doba, do nothing, and your membership will automatically continue for as long as you choose to remain a member at a rate of $49.95 per month. See Terms of Service for complete membership details. No commitments, no hassles. Cancel any time call 866-417-3016 Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm (MST)."

Thats copied and pasted from the site. Also you said you emailed to cancel. Again in the terms it tells you that you MUST call to cancel. Pretty straight forward if you ask me. And the only criminal is you lying about the sign up process.

As far as the prices go. They have 1.2 Million products from over 250 suppliers. Not every item you try and sell will be the cheapest on eBay. Thats just common knowledge. (which I feel is lost with some people) Again, Doba was nothing but up front with you and you just didn't do what you needed to to get out of that trial. YOUR BAD.
