Doctor FixIt Appliance Repair Jacksonville Florida
Submitted an online inquiry to receive appliance service. My LG Washer was not draining water and I was getting a standard "OE" code. Doctor FixIt repairman "Joe" came and said the motor needed to be replaced. He "ordered" a new motor and came back within 2 days to replace it. After "replacing" the motor the washer still did not work and the "OE" code still appeared. He charged $299 for the motor and $49.95 for the service call or $344.62. When he left, the washer still did not work and his statement "sorry you are having these problems". A new serviceman was called who opened the machine and found shockingly...the original 2005 motor still in the machine. I was charged for a service that wasn't even delivered and the motor was not even replaced. Even more shocking was that the motor was actually 1/2 of the cost charged by Doctor FixIt repairman. My new bill was 1/2 of the $344.62 charged. Complete and utter fraud. Worse yet, was that this repair service main headquarters still wants to charge me for the service that was never delivered. They should have been trying to stop the fraud perpetrated by the repairman and instead want money for the service that was never received. FACT: No new $299 motor was ever installed PERIOD.
