Dodge Country ripoff, Failed to fix the brakes, failed to finish the job Killeen Texas
I took my jeep in for its regular scheduled maintenice, within an hour they came out and told me it needed the brakes and rotors changed, i said go ahead but I wanted the brakes and rotors back because i did not believe they were bad, i got the rotors back, but they refused to give me the brakes.
They kept my jeep over night for a simple maintence checkup and brake change the next day I pick my jeep up get about 5 miles away and the bolts that hold the brakes on fell off and the brakes started to fall off. They had to come get it on a flat bed truck.
I go back the next day to get it back again, to find the flat tire they fixed had not been aired up, the fluids had not been filled, so i went back, they aired up the tire but that was all.
I left there parked at a friends house and my Jeep rolled down her driveway nearly hitting her car, the emergecny brakes did not work. And the brake pedels went to the floor. Took it back they kept it over night again.
This time i go to pick it up and I tell them I do not trust thier work, and I want the money back we spent on this, they told me they would only give back the 322.00 of labor but not for the parts that was fine with me but they would ONLY do this if I told them we would not sue them. I would not agree to this but fought for an hour to get that part of them money back.
They ran my jeep out of gas in the 4 days they had it, I have to small children and was inconvienced for that many days being without my vehicle off and on, not to mention it could have killed me or my kids.
I ended up spended 378.00 (after they refunded the 322.00) for brakes my jeep did not need and I took the rotors to another store and they told me they brakes never rubbed against them and they rotors could have been turned they were not ruined. I do have pictures of the bolts that fell out and all my neighbors seen what happened.
