Dodge rip-off - Defective truck hurt me and attorney says I don't have a case. Suggestions? Detroit Michigan
As I was driving my 1976 dodge ram 2500 truck, the hood flew up and blocked my vision. So being scared to death almost I threw my head out the window and tried to see where I was going and slammed the brakes as fast and hard as I could. When I did this I must have injured my neck because from then on I have had sometimes severe pain from my neck.
The dealer where I bought the truck fully repaired the truck right away, and claimed the hood latch was defective. The safety was not grabing and so dodge recalled the hood latch several weeks after the episode. This was 2 years ago and my attorney is telling me that I don't have a good case. Anyone with any suggestions?
