I made contact with Julian

I made contact with Julian the friday before last (3/22). I called his number from a payphone to ensure anonimity. I guess he'd been screening his calls because it took a few in a row before he finally picked up. As soon as he answered I told him that he had ripped me off and that I wanted my money back but did'nt give him my name.

I could tell he was stalling because all he was saying is: "who is this"? I told him that was the least of his worries because I had his entire profile, from his SSN to his mothers maiden name, and if he did not comply he'd be sorry. He must have thought I was bluffing, because when he told me that he did'nt have any money, and I said " I know, I looked, you only have 108.34" he was silent.

Thats what nailed it because he's been very cooperative since. I called him a week later (3/29) and he told me he would have my money on monday. I'm going to call tonight and see if he's got it. If he doesn't, it's on to step two. You can guess what that is!

By the way, I went camping at Sunset State Beach just south of Santa Cruz. The surf sucked but it was tons of fun. After all this negativity, I needed the release.

Thanks, Mac W.

I am a Consumer Advocate Volunteer for the Rip-off Report, residing in South Florida.

I just called this number. I immediately asked the guy on the phone if I could get Dogg Digital Speakers for a discounted deal. He said, OK, who told you to call, I said a friend gave me the number who got it through someone else, that I was really looking for a good deal on some speakers to go with my new sound system. He then said, well (pausing) my friend, .. .. ..he's the one that sells them not me. I then said, are they those expensive speakers that are left over at the warehouse? Can I get some before your boss leaves town? The Dogg Digital guy then says, well, I need to know who told you to call. Then I said, what makes the difference who I am, I really want speakers, he then said, well that's my friend, not me, how did you get this number? He then say, I can get my friend to call you back.

I then reveled to him, he must have sold speakers from his van with or for his friend who is a rip-off scam artist then, because, your phone number was retrieved through your license plate.

I explained to him that this information was on the Internet, and I was sure he would be receiving other phone calls.

A tape recording of our phone conversation is being sent to the authorities in California.
