Today (1/24/03), at approximately 1:30 pm in Mountainside, NJ on Route 22 east bound at an Amoco (BP) gas station, while filling up, two guys (caucasion), approximately 23 years old pulled up in a copper colored GMC Safari Van, NJ license plate # LCS 86E, acting silly and a bit drunk, and offer me a "very high end sound systems".

One guy told me he just got these great speakers and surround sound systems from him boss as a bonus for a great year at work and he and his buddy needed cash so that they could go to NYC and get drunk and have fun at the go go bars.

One guy told me the system was worth $5,000 and the reason I never heard of the system is because it was very high end. He asked how much money I had on me and to make him an offer. I told him $200.

He said he would follow me to a mac machine and he would sell me everything for $1,000. I told him no, but for $200 I would be willing to take the gamble. He said ok and the two of them threw 2 digital loudspeakers (SL-1200) and a DA 5.1 III, Pro series III, 5 piece Professional Home Theatre system in my truck and drove off while one of them was screaming, here we come NY. They both wore uniforms with wool hats. As they drove off, I wrote the plates down just incase this turned out to be a scam. And boy was it ever.

These speakers sound like tin. The theatre system doesn't even work. I take full responsibility for being a bone head and buying them the way I did, and deserve getting ripoffed. Just wanted to share the info so maybe others won't make the same mistake, and who knows, maybe the company will get caught red handed. Would be nice.

The ironic thing is, they have their own website that looks awesome, but it appears to all be a big scam.

This is only my opinion and based on my experience, hope it will do some good.

Beware and best regards,

Michael
