I can't believe it. I feel that I'm a great judge of character but wow. I got scammed. I came online to find hook ups for my two new speakers that I got such a "great deal" on. Good thing I found this webpage on my search.

I was pulling out of the Beville shopping center at the corner of Beville Road and Clyde Morris Blvd in Daytona Beach. Two young men (early 20's) waved me down to tell me about a great deal.

"Dennis" got out of the mini van to tell me how they went to a warehouse to pick up an order for the company they work for and received too many. He showed me an order slip, and a catalog with the speakers in it. He showed that they were listed at $1500. If he took them back, he said that his shadey foreman was going to take them for himself.

I tried to read him a bit and asked him a ton of questions to find out if this was the real thing. Dennis went on to ask me about what I did and smoothed me over. I told them I didn't have much cash on me. I came up with $800 for the two speakers. I thought I was getting a deal and helping out two young people trying to make some money.

Whatever happened to the idea of trusting people. An honest handshake with an honest days work. The downfall of our society.
I've been had. Thank you "Dennis and Charles".
