The company is fraudulent in stealing your money if you choose to write a check they debit your account automatically taking the money before the merchandise is delivered. I did not like the way the delivery drivers came in and sat the furniture in the middle of the floor and they leave it for you to take the articles out of the box or whatever needs to be done.

The attitudes of the drivers was totally unacceptable so I simply exersised my rights to return it to the store this store seems to feel they have the right to keep my money. I even took the police up to the store in an attempt to obtain my money and he still refused the officer let him know he would pass that information on to other officer's in the office so they would not make the mistake of patronizing his business.

This case is now in small claims court and he fills so strong about keeping my money he retained an attorney in order to keep my $200 dollars it is a shame this man practices such horific business ethics he should be published on the news so other people will not fall prey to his unfair business tactics.

ATTORNEYS NOT ALLOWED IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT

#2Consumer Comment

The parties can get legal advice before Small Claims court, but attorneys are not allowed to represent the parties. Likely, the attorney is his regular attorney and as a favor to his client, wrote a letter for him, etc., mainly for the purpose of intimidating you into dropping the case.

I would also put pressure on your bank to do a chargeback, being that you returned the merchandise and are getting no cooperation on the refund due. Before they get a chance to tell you "no", have your documentation in hand.
