Yes, I Do Love The Dollar Tree For The Most Part...but...

They have Very Poor, Non-Existent Customer Service on the phone.

In Fact, when You call their customer service, you just get a recording that ONLY refers you back to their website.

That really sucks.

I bought a women's razor set and shaving cream because I have a very hard time in shaving and their product(s) did Not work out for ME.

I did pay with an American Express Credit Card by the way, however, when I came to their store to take back the products for either a store credit or exchange, I was given a very hard time!

In fact, Lexxi, the store manager at this store told me that she would NOT take back the merchandise without a receipt.

I told her immediately that I paid with my American Express Credit card and asked her to look up my purchase in the system and she Refused stating that it would take too long!

I had No Other Choice other than to leave the product(s) in her store and take pictures of them for the proof of the return and leave the store immediately!

Apparently, this store has NO Customer Etiquette, as well as NO Customer Service and it shows!

I will just have to be Extra Careful What I Buy At Their Stores!

Final Thoughts:  Keep Your Receipts When Shopping At The Dollar Tree Stores.
Most Of Their Products Are Pretty Good, Except For These Particular Ones!

This is par for the course at most retailers

You should not expect anything other than this, unless you are at Kohl's, WalMart or Target. The smaller retailers can't look up your card number like the giant retailers can. Everyone who expects a refund should bring a receipt; I think you overreacted. A receipt would have ensured an exchange. To the best of my knowledge, Dollar Tree offers NO refunds, just exchanges with receipt and damaged merchandise provided.

U talk too much!

I personally could care less about what you say since you were not there and it really is none of your business. I am not going to comment on your immaturity and lack of facts and education. Peace

Common sense.

Firstly, its pretty much common sense to keep your receipts for at least as long as you have a window to return them. Secondly, YOU USED THE PRODUCT! At that point you have to take it up with the manufacturer about getting a refund as the store CANNOT take back product of a personal nature that has been used. Thirdly, you NEVER just drop something off! That is a pretty moronic thing to do! They can throw it away and there is NOTHING to prove you made any purchase. Since a credit card statement is only going to show that TOTAL amount paid and the location. Lastly, you made your purchase at a dollar srore. meaning its basically an outlet store. Grade "B" items and NOT the grade "A" items you get when you pay full retail. So you cant expect the same quality. Since you didn't bring a receipt and just dropped it off you can expect NO REFUND! The REAL issue is that YOU assumed. When you assume you do so at your own risk! You assumed they could JUST look up your purchase right there at the register. That is no longer the case at MANY retail locations. Its done so the employees CANNOT be tempted to commit credit card fraud. You assumed that you could get a refund on products that you had already used. When it comes to PERSONAL hygene items many times you cant return them at all. Why is a retail store going to take back something used and personal that they cannot sell because YOU used it?? Why should THEY have to eat the lose because it didn't work for you? Its a prevelant self entitlement that is almost scary in its depth. Since YOU have done all this assumption its easy to see how YOU THINK that you should get your way no matter what. The OLD and OUTDATED adage of "The customer is always right" has NOT been true for probably longer then YOU have been alive. Pretty much since WW2 that hasn't been true and no matter how much YOU want it to be true, it is NOT!!! By just dropping the product off you pretty much just gave it back to them being as possession is 9/10ths of the law and WILL NOT get a refund no matter how many pictures you have taken. You NOW have no proof you purchased it and you do not have the items. YUP! There aint gonna be a refund at that point. I would try and attempt to give you good solid advice about future incidents but given YOUR self entitlement issues it would just be ignored by YOU. YOU will continue to screw yourself over by making assumptions and continuing with that self entitlement to the point that YOU are going to eventually bone yourself so badly that you are going to wish you never had that self entitlement attitude. Heres the worst part. Go right ahead and dispute with your credit card company the charge. Unfortunatly THAT is going to backfire on you as well. Once they contact the store and the credit card company finds out that YOU made a purchase there AND that YOU expect to not only KEEP everything you purchased that day but ALSO demand a FULL refund, well you are probably going to have the credit card company looking at ALL of your purchases going forward as YOU attempting to commit credit card fraud. No I don't work for them, but I DO have to deal with the very same attitudes in my job. YOU would rather slander THEM instead of just admitting that YOU screwed up. I see it every day and it AMAZES me that people like yourself still consider themselves adults.
