This company started on a bad foot when the day of the move was bad.

They promised a certain time on a certain day..then tried to change it. The company that they had contracted said they had no forewarning or mention of the pick up until that day. The company that picked up took my things and did not give me a receipt or say good bye...just left when my back was turned.

The pick up was from Houston, Texas on August 2nd, 2004. The pick up was by a company called S.A.I.A.

I did not get a bill of laden for over a month. The price that they gave me was based on the estimate for the smallest amount I thought I might have. They gave me three estimates. Naturally, the estimate of the highest weight was cheaper by a rate of 40% less per pound than from the estimate for a smaller amount. I packed a large amount that exceeded the largest bid estimate and yet, they insisted on charging the highest rate. What does one do? I attempted to communicate with them via email and phone and got nowhere.

My elderly father phoned them and Kathryn Kaiser gave him an ultimatum and he paid her the high amount.

I was told that my things would be here in 6 to 8 weeks. It has been 16 weeks now.

When I talked to Kelly Love, over 3 weeks ago, she told me that she saw that my items were due to arrive in Antwerp on November 13 and that she would call me that Monday to confirm. She did not call or return my emails. I emailed Kathryn, Rich Perez, Marty and only heard back from Kathryn, now over a week ago.

I need my items for work. I have curriculums handwritten and charts that took over a year to paint. They took a special training program and full time work of over a year. Not to mention that I am freezing my a$$ of here without winter clothing and would like my cooking untensils.

I contacted the container company, "Direct Container Lines, in Houston and the were able to tell me that my things actually arrived in Antwerp on October 19th. Why the lie from Kelly?

These people seem corrupt, criminal and if not that, than just downright incompetent, rude and stupid.

I have filed an online complaint with the Florida Attorney General's office and there is a good form at www.myfloridalegal.com/complaintform.pdf

Please email me if you wish to share advice or receive input or advice. I will also look into filing a report with the FBI.
