Dolphin Line in Mobile,Al. will not absorb any mistakes made on the drivers behalf. If you accidentally hook and pull wrong trailer they will make you pay for the fuel. If you have any kind of D.O.T. violation they will take $25.00 out of your next paycheck and that includes something as simple as a burned out light.

Their tractors are not maintained like they should be. My assigned truck was given to me full of violations. If you do not take care of even the simple repairs that could get you a violation, you will end up paying for it out of your own pocket.

Their safety rating is extremely poor, so D.O.T. inspections are very likely.

I had a broken strap that holds my fire extinguisher in place. I was not fined for it but was given a notice to turn into company for repair and then company mails confirmed repair to the issuing state. Well, Dolphin took $25.00 out of my next check anyway.

They explain very little to the new driver in their 6 hr unpaid orientation.

The one mistake I did make was to get a speeding ticket. Well, with the ticket and the broken strap on my fire extinguisher prior to the ticket, they TERMINATED me.

Dolphin Line has owed me over $120.00 detention pay for a month and a half before terminating me and still have not received a dime of it.

Wrong Trailer?

When hooking to a trailer STOP AND LOOK. After hooking to a trailer, Get Out And Look. Prior to moving get your camera and take a PICTURE OF YOUR ORDER WITH THE TRAILER. I picked up a trailer and the security guard okayed it. I pulle dthat traile to N.J. I was not paid because it WAS THE WRONG ONE. If you do that face up to YOUR mistake. No one held a gun to you, YOU did it. BE A MAN.

Go to work for the government. Then it won't matter how many times you screw up. And you won't want to work for yourself cause you won't last in business for long.
