Domain Listing Service Corp. Sends a solicitation for domain listing services which appears like a bill for services rendered. Chicago Illinois
This company, Domain Listing Services Corporation sent me a statement which appeared to be for services rendered. I had never heard of this company and I have never asked for information from them. They found my website somehow and sent me what appeared to be a bill. The bill lists the description of services followed by a charge of $75.00, what the sebscription includes, etc. On the back of the statement it tells where to send payments, website information and payment information. Then it states "This is not a bill. This is a solicitation. You are under no obligation to pay the amount stated unless you accept this offer."
My problem with this is that it is very deceptive in appearance. I believe it would be very easy for some people to not read all the print and actually pay for services that they don't want or need. I think the intent of the company is to make it look like a bill to fool people. This is unacceptable and very deceptive.

after many have complained to their attorney generals and the FTC when this scam was being run under this:
Internet Listing Service Corp.
27 N Wacker Dr. Suite 650
Chicago IL 60606
The people doing it are allegedly actually based in Europe.
