In June 2004, I got a call from a CSR from Dominion Financial advising me that in order to receive a $2500.00 limit credit card, I authorized a payment through on-line banking of $279.00 (a one time fee). The money was taken out of my account on 7/2/04 w/phone number of 416.624.2743.

Today, July 27, I called the above number and got a man located in Toronto Canada and he said he has received numerous calls asking to speak w/someone from Dominion Financial. He advised this was a personal phone.

I immediately went on-line and punched in Dominion Financial and lo and behold found 2 other rip-off accounts for the same situation/same company!

This is very pitiful and a very painful financial lesson to not trust anyone! I needed a credit card because of recent debts due to the loss of my 7 year old daughter and just when I thought something good was going to come out of my life and help deal with expenses over the loss of my daughter, I get slammed back down.

I'm very upset and this will be reported to the BBB and my attorney general's office.
