Complaint Review: Dominion Law Associates

Basically put I decided to give them a call after several notices that I owed a medical group after I had my son.  Upon talking to a gentleman at Dominion I was asked several personal questions to confirm who I was even with a reference number. 

I fully understand and respect that I need to pay for the procedure that was done to my son in the amount of $310 but I do not understand nor would he tell me how the bill went from that to just under 1k.  After hanging up with him I called EVMS and asked if there was anything I could do or if there was more to the bill then I thought.  She said nope all they sent over was the $310.

I explained that I have been out of work since April of 2014 and wouldnt be looking for work for at least the next few years due to being a stay at home mom.  He got very rude very quickly and kept talking about some court date which I have yet to recieve a summons for.

My father in law is a retired lawyer and basically states they are just blowing smoke up my a*s in order to scare me into paying.  Either way I am willing to settle for close the the original amount but am very reluctant, if they even agree, to do so seeing as I am not the only person they have done this to/ripped of/lied to. 

So.. the wait for the summons begins..

I do hope they enjoy a screaming 1 year old in a court hearing.
