Dominion Products and Services - Water Line Replacement Rip-Off Have been paying the additional $4.99 monthly charge to Dominion Products and Services for the Water Line Replacement Program since 2012. This additional charge is applied directly to my monthly Dominion Power energy bill. I never received any instructions or terms and conditions. Now, guess what, the water line broke! Now after the breakage and payment directly to a local plumber in the amount of $3900.00, I called DPS - Dominion Products and Services and asked to speak to a representative. Before I could even finish my concern, the agent jumped in and said “DPS" DOES NOT PAY THIRD PARTY CONTRACTORS" WOW - How many "DPS" consumers have made the same mistake! I later found out the plumbing contractor is a registered contractor for "DPS" The plumber indicated to me that happen all the time, good luck getting your money back. I can only assume there are hundreds if not thousands of consumers that have been ripped-off by this corporate giant. Maybe bonuses are paid on rejected claims. Any lawyers; sounds like a class action law-suit to me. I'm working to submit a Warrant in Debt the local county court in the amount of $3900.00. Maybe if enough screwed "DPS" consumers stand together a class action can be won. Oh by the way, I've read the Terms and Conditions several times and do find anything about " Third Party Contractors " Signed ALL WET FROM "DPS"
