Complaint Review: Don Cristobal Navarro Euromilliones Spanish Sweepstakes Lottery Anthony Meyer Mapro Seguro

My father received an "award notification, final notice" dated may 16, 2005 from the euro milliones la primitiva europea, madrid, spain, to which he allegedly won 550,000.00 euro.

He was being asked to contact a claim's agent, anthony meyer, foreign operations manager, mapro seguro sisa for processing and remittance of his prize money to a designated account of his choice. But, my father is supposed to pay for all expenses incurred during the processing and remittance of the fund. A payment processing form was attached asking for personal details about my father including his bank name and account number. Deadline of processing is june 17, 2005.

I am very skeptical about the whole thing i just had to browse through the net and see for myself if this is just another scam. True enough, similar stories abound under the same circumstances and i couldn't help but be dismayed with the extent the "syndicate" has managed go around preying on unsuspecting would-be victims.

Is there no one investigating this?
