Complaint Review: Don E. Sharp - Affordable Movers

Hello All,

Just to be brief Donald E. Sharp owner of Affordable Movers, Is the most unprofessional company to work for, in town or out of town. His lead mover is pound for pound the most worse person to let handle your fine movables or anything for that matter. If you've
got glass table tops,or fragile items marked fragile then beware, he'll turn it so many ways to stack it until it breaks then his words are "so what they won't know until it gets there" and that's just to name a few
things you can expect from this company. Then he charges just enough to fill his pockets then gives his guys the scraps, He over works them and then he collects the money and gives the workers what he feels may satisfy them, because his main goal is self only.
Now not too long ago I went on an out of town trip with one of his workers who has a valid DL because the rest of them do not have valid DL. Now normally when doing a job like this it should be the owners responsibilty to handle all travel itinerary funds to get there, hotel lodging,food , and return fare as well. No this man is so cheap and money hungry that he leaves the return
from then trip to his enmployees, or employee. Not to stray away from the topic. Mr. sharp gets us out to Arkansas and really has no way to get us back to jacksonville, fl not to mention just to be fair ENTERPRISE RENTAL is the worse company to rent from, and they're employees do misquote prices frequently so watch them when traveling they'll tell you one rate
then charge you a whole different rate.

But anyway mr. sharp has no organizational skills at all which is why he tries to leave the responsibilities
on his employees laziness plays a big part as well. Then not to mention his paperwork is faulty as well a business man he isn't because FL DOT almost seized the customers/ clients moving truck all because his travel papers for leaving the state weren't done properly they made me feel like a detainee asking questions that an employee shouldn't have to answer.

I've worked for other moving companies and never had to deal with this type of situation ever before in short Donald E. Sharp the owner ripped me out of properly paying me because all the monery that I was paid had to be used to get us back home beucause to get us from
arkansas he used me to rent a van from U-Haul then stuck me with the tab claiming that he was relying on me to rent a car to get us back? and if you're the owner then you should always have another way just in cases places like Arkansas who sells pre-paid credit cards but won't let use them at rental agencies, or not to many other places as well.

But still I'm left with the bill and the only explanation that don sharp has is "I should've brought my truck and let you and and a non-Lic. man drive the truck a 26 footer with a car carrier on the back
but don's thing is that he leaves this reponsibilty on his worker which is totally wrong and if you owned a company would you do the same?

just to save money? because you feel that it would be easier for you? and if you're that cheap and don't care about screwing up another persons name just so you can get over then you know karma is one thing you don't
play with and when you do dirt to others surely it will come back on you no matter how you play it. And to all other moving companies if this is how you treat you're employees weather temp. or perm or per-diem
it'll come back on you, and one thing I can say is that Bucky Neustadt is a racist somebody towards black people and latinos alike but at least he pays for everything and won't leave you with bills and offer no help just saying it's all on you that's not my fault but I rode with you though back to florida. yet I own the company and that's how I run my business and I still expect us to work together and that's how Affordable Movers works.
