Consumer's Beware of Think A Little Different fraud. We recently ordered Don Grazio's "Think A Little Different" program after watching the infommercial. I have to admit it sounded like it would have valuable information I could and at about $40 it was worth a try. After receiving the packet and reviewing the CD's and booklets both my husband and I realized that the packet included very little information we could actually use. It was mostly all hipe and motivational and very general. It didn't walk you through the process or give you any real how to do information (although I haven't read all of it ). We didn't want to waste any more of our time. A few weeks later we got a call from our "consultant" Chris, who was going to "help" us get started. He set up a conference call between my husband and I and it was a different person this time. We were asked a bunch of personal questions to see what our "motivation" was and see it we were "good candidates" for their "success team". It didn't take long before we realized that we were being conned, especially after he told us their was a "tuition" for them helping us! He wouldn't tell us the exact amount of the tuition but when we guessed about $2,000 he said that was the "base price". We were told that he would "mentor" us by phone for six months then after our third deal (sale of a home) Don would reiumburse our money. We asked for references and he hestitated and said they didn't do that. Hmmmm I wonder why. He also then said that he would ask about it and someone would get back to us. Then he "wondered if we were good candidates" afterall. We also asked if there was a guarantee. Of course he promised yes, but when we emphazed "in writing" he mumbled a different answer which just avoided the question. "Chris" had initially told me prior to setting up this phone conference that they would help us in exchange for being in one of their commercials. Being in advertising ourselves we felt that would be a fair exchange. Nothing was ever mentioned about a tuition! A red flag went up when the conference guy (can't remember his name) said that he was thousands of success teams like over 70,000 throughout the United States and Canada. Then we wondered why he would want us as a success story after claiming they needed more for their infommercials. There were a lot of contradictions in his stories and I guess he wasn't prepared for the questions we asked. Anyway, we may be out $40 but at least we knew not to go further and want to warn everyone else. Be Very Careful with these guys!!! I don't know what the full "tuition" was but there were a ton of red flags when we asked questions apparently others don't usually ask. I don't suspect they'll be in business long if they keep this up. I also read that Dean Graziois is also the one behind "Motor Millions" a car profitting scam! Delena Delena Gig Harbor, Washington

I agree, if it didn't work then get the money back

Spelling and word usage....

DJ,
Self-edification does not equal validity, but it does imply honesty on this person's part.

I agree, if it didn't work then get the money back. If the money wasn't returned then that would be a rip-off.

Therefore, if there was something like that to report then that would help. If the material just wasn't up to what you expected then that would be a report... especially if you didn't get the money back.

Just as an aside, I personally don't believe that spelling is that big of a deal on a web post. Whether it is because of typo or whatever. The proper level of care depends on the context of the medium. Also, spelling does not indicate whether a person is intelligent, logical or accurate.

empathize
empathize (mp-thz)
v. empathized, empathizing, empathizes

To feel empathy in relation to another person

emphasize
emphasize (mf-sz)
tr.v. emphasized, emphasizing, emphasizes

To give emphasis to; stress.

Thanks,

Understand Your Purchase

After reviewing your correspondence with this website, it has become apparent that your homework has not been completed. Not to say that I could not emphasize with your experience, however it is still clear that you understand that no actual damage has been done to you as of yet. In fact you stated that you did not make a purchase from anyone other than the 40 dollar expenditure for the informational package.

So I decided to ask you a few questions.
1). Does Fraud occur prior to, or after the offense?
2). Does contempt prior to investigation mean anything to you?
3).Did you act on the 30 day money back guarantee or just state that you lost that money?
4). Are you banking on words like "may have lost" which does not imply certainty?
5). Just what do you and your husband market?
6). Is your product perception into reality like the rest of America? In other words do you create your own supply and demand? If not, your not in marketing.

Be advised no one should be allowed to rip anyone one off. By the same token, the same should be applied to those who accuse. You are just as accountable. If no fraud occurred, then state a consumer alert, not a fraud alert... accountability is reality, not perception..ask any attorney, judge etc..,

Best of luck in all your future endeavors. Also make sure you edit and for spelling and grammar, the name is Graziosi, it implies that you know what your talking about. In the future remember Self Edification does not equal validity.
