Don Johnsons acct #2669296 (my old phone number)
My 1995 Mercury Sable Was towed to Don Johnsons for brakeline repair on 12-14-06.

The appointment to be worked on was 12-19-06
on that day they called and said that it was a difficult repair and that it would cost about $260 to repair the line itself being less than $10.

They also said the car wouldnt start and said I needed a new coil and coil wire this was untrue it was however low on gas.

A few days later I got a call explaining that after the first line was repaired another was broken and would cost about another $260.

By this time I expected my car done since it was being done by the finest $85hr Mr. Goodwrench mechanics.
At this time they said there was a valve needing replacement $110 also both rear brake hoses and they were not equiped to bleed the brakelines. I was told they were equiped to handle repairs on FRord products even though they are not a ford dealer and I was never told in advance they couldnt do the job.

All those parts replaced so they could break the old lines out and use a torch to save time but the majority of the cost is an ooutrageous amount of labor.

Nearly afull month went by 01-12-07 before I went to pick up my car and this before Don johnsons called me saying it was done aparently by the mechanics words it was but the brakelines still may have air in them.
I have gotten much better service and better quality repairs done by mechanice charging half as much per hour and they do the work in less time.

The brakes are better but still dont work properly.
There was also a coolant leak when I picked the car up that did not exist when I had it towed to Don Johnsons.

So a $1400 bill for a few brakelines $150 was for towing I was overcharged for parts i did get but $935 just for labor I should have gotten entirely new brake plumbing on the entire car for what i paid.
