Complaint Review: Don Lapre Universal Business Strategies

I don't feel I am an excessively gullible person but I was suckered in, too. I wanted the typical american dream of financial freedom so I was willing to take a small chance and when I saw Don Lapre's Making Money commercial, I fell for it. He didn't take me for alot of money but any amount that is swindled out of a person is still unfair.

I am a mother of two, and my husband and I don't have alot of money to throw away. I have been trying to get a measely refund of $24 plus the overdraft fee that that (unauthorized) withdrawal cost me, since January of 2003. It is now June 2003 and I still haven't seen that refund.

I have tried calling all of the phone numbers I can find on this company and they are all either busy from sunup til sundown, or they go to a full mailbox for someone by the name of Michael Zirboss.(no clue who that might be).

Please make sure people are aware of what these creeps are doing. I learned alittle too late. I still don't understand how (after 10 years of ripping people off) he can still be legally allowed to advertise and suck people in.
