Don't Interview with Unique World Wide Services, Inc. (UWSI) It's a scam!
UWSI placed an ad in the Gadsden Times that claims the following:
Clerical/Office OFFICE Manager trainee, $32,000/$48,000 per yr. Paid training No exp. Will train. Must have good communication skills. Gadsden. 256-831-7017
I sent the ad to my mom and she called. They set her up with an interview. However, she had to bring $75 CASH to the interview as a security deposit. She was only to pay the money if they hired her.
I searched for the company online and the only thing I could find was on this web site for the same company located in Montgomery, AL. The guy that listed on this page says that they are a scam, but there were two other listings under it that said that it was a good company. I decided to call the better business bureau in Anniston. They said that they had numerous complaints and that the attorney general's office was investigating them. They also said that the company was kicked out of the BBB in another city because of unresolved complaints.
Beware of this company!
