Complaint Review: Donald E. Haviland Jr.

Donald E. Haviland Jr. Attorney Donald Havil and Attorney Donald E. Haviland Jr.Donald Haviland Attorney Donald E Haviland Attorney Waste of time, friendly but not helpful Ambler Pennsylvania

I used Avvo.com to post a question about a legal matter I had. This attorney responded, claiming to have worked with other attorneys in my state on a class action lawsuit. Attorney is not even licensed to practice in my state. He provided me with info I was already aware of  and was a complete waste of my time.

I had a viable class action lawsuit against a chain company and there were a number of individuals who had the same exact issues as I did and all were interested. The reason this attorney was not interested in the case is because his wife once worked for this company and it would have affected her pension if we were to go after this company. It wasn't a conflict of interest matter, he just didn't want his wife's money "affected".

He acted as if he was somehow licensed to practice in my state of Kentucky anyway. Communicating with him was a waste of my time.

This is not a hoax in any way. I distinctly remember discussing my issue with Donald Haviland by phone. As a matter of fact, we communicated via email several times before talking by phone and I still have those emails archived. He even had some of his associates present during the phone call.

I don't think he had any interest in my case from the very beginning. He decided to speak with me by phone only because he had some free time to kill. As I stated, communicating with him was a complete waste of my time and I would not recommend him.

This report is a complete hoax.  The complainant makes a vague reference to a question allegedly posed on another site, AVVO, where the undersigned has achieved the highest rating of "10", as well as numerous, 5-star client recommendations.  It is unfortunate the complainant did not raise his/her concerns on that site, but chose to file an anonymous -- and erroneous -- "Ripoff" Report, which demonstrates that it is a hoax in at least 2 material respects: (1) the undersigned has never represented he is licensed to practice law in Kentucky, and (2) the undersigned's wife is a proud homemaker who never worked for any company the complainant claims.

"This is the second report I have read from you about an attorney " And your point is? Does that make either of them more or less viable simply because you read two of them? If you had read correctly, you would have noticed that my issue was taken care of. Do you even know what a "contingency fee" is?? It's not like there are a list of attorneys nationwide that people can access to find out who accepts cases like this. What exactly is your reason for commenting? This site is for "outing" or alerting those who have scammed, lied, or deceived consumers. I suggest you go play hall monitor on another site.

This is the second report I have read by you about an Attorney.  SO what is your so called "lawsuit" about?  IF you cannot pay their fees then I suggest you find an attorney who is willing to take your case on a contigency basis.  Class action suit?? Do you even know what a class action suit is??
