Dorothy Perkins U.S. Misleading Website for United States Does Not Indicate Orders Shipped form UK London Internet

Despite exablishing a website specific to the United States us.dorothyperkins.com, the company never clarifies at any point on the website or during the shopping cart or checkout process that all items will be mailed from the United Kindom and will be subject to import tarrifs in the United States. I was forced to pay 20% of the cost of my order to U.S. customs and this was a complete shock and surprise. I didn't even know it was coming from outside of the United States.  Packages are shipped by DPD shipping, which can not track packages once they arrive in the United States, so the 'tracked' shipping is a bold faced lie. Packages will be delayed and despite paying for '2 - 4 day tracked shipping' the order will be held in customs and delayed for up to two weeks. I was entirely misled by my shopping experience and despite contacking Dorothy Perkins customer service, which is acutally a contracted firm, I was never able to get assistance with my purchase. The customer service represntatives acknowledged that they had many American customers with the same experience and this experience is well outlined across the internet.
