The manager, otto, stole the tour money the employees collected. Normally the money is divided between the desk staff, but he pocketed the money for himself. The general manager, sam calello, is such an unethical jerk, he didn't do anything to make it up to the employees.

As you stated in your report "Normally the money is divided between the desk staff, " I assume you are referring to TIPS left by the guests & such. If this is given to the HOTEL or MGMT, it is their decision on what they do with it. Just because it has been done a certain way in the past doesnt mean that is the rule or such. Remember when you work for someone else, they are IN CHARGE & make the rules within the LAWS of the STATE & such. Meaning they cant violate FEDERAL WAGE RULES or TAX LAWS etc. But it doesnt mean you are entitled to any tips or such that is given to the hotel or mgmt.
