Complaint Review: Doug' Hyundai

me and my husband went to doug's hyundai to look at cars back in August. We were shown a 2004 Santa Fe and was told that we could take the suv and we were approved for the loan. The next day we got a call from them stating that we have to bring the suv back to them as we needed a co-signer. We choose no to get a co-signer and was shown a 200 chevorlet malibu which i know of the car as my brother has one. So we were approved again and took the car home and wrote 2 checks for a down payment and told them do not put them in the bank until my other check came in the mail from a car accident. We bought the warrenty and the cap. We took the car and it ran fine until we took it on the freeway 2 weeks later on the way to Tacome for the fair and the car lost power. We got it started and got to Tacoma. We got done with the fair and started back home to Lynnwood and the car lost power 4 times and we had a hard time getting it home.

We called and told to take the car to the service center and now it is sitting there and they say nothing is wrong. First they said it was the gas we put in the tank which is wrong we always used the same gas in our other cars. Then to come to find out they put in the checks that they were holding and now we have no money left or a car that runs. So to say the least we are not going to go back there or send any friends as they sold us a lemon and now we have to pay for a car that we cannot use or drive.
