Douglas Carl RV Scam via text messages by Douglas Carl, 6547 Blvd Norms, Lake View, Iowa, phone 216-834-3444 Gulf of Mexico, off shore oil site Internet
I posted my RV for sale thru my RV Trader on 1 April 2015. I got a text message a few hours later by someone named Douglas Carl who said he wanted to buy my RV but he lived in Lake View, Iowa and due to his job on a oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, he would need to have a pick up agent take the RV to where he lived and he would pay for it thru Paypal. I notifed him my email address for him to deposit the purchase price into. He said that he would deposit the money. I expect they will ask me to pay for the pick up agent next so I told him not to ask me for any money for the agent or any over payment into my account. At this point I awaiting his response. I'm retired and enjoy screwing with people like this! I'm going to notified Paypal about the scam next.
