Well!!!!!  If I had ONLY known this site existed five years ago!  But even though the years have passed, I am still coming to terms with the crap I endured at the hands of "Doug"...aka "Jeoff"...and apparently, aka "Randy"?

Impersonating a police officer, pretending to be a paramedic, pretending to be a fireman, pretending to be a business owner......pretending to be an UPRIGHT human being is more like it.  LOSER!

I met "Jeoff" online.  He had hit me up expressing interest in me.  We chatted and agreed to meet after several conversations.  Yes, he was charming, to say the least.  I still remember our first "date".  He was taking me to NY for dinner, and I was very impressed when he flung his "light" on the dashboard, and stopped to help a motorist who spun out on the highway.  VERY impressive.  And so the charm continued.  At dinner, he ended up paying for the meal with a check.  I thought nothing of it, but in Massachusetts, there is not ONE restaurant that takes checks, so who was I to ask questions?  Right.  Well, needless to say, this b**tard took me for a ride alright.  Perhaps he learned his lesson from all the prior screw ups he had, that it took me a VERY long time to find out the truth about him.  I had recently gone through my divorce, and I had my savings account filled semi- decently.  He asked me to "work" for him, and I left my job working for a very large bank because he offered me "more money" to be his office manager.  So, I took it.  Not only was he the owner of this "security business", he also worked for the State of Connecticut in Law Enforcement.  Impressive, isn't it?  Hardly.  More like a crock of s***.  Shall I continue?

Now there was no surprise to me, since he had employees....and an office, and equipment, and nice furnishings.  I met these employees!  I worked with them for several weeks at first!  I thought nothing of it, but was impressed.  It wasn't long before he wanted me to be a "domesticate" and stay home.  I wonder why.  Because merchants were constantly barging in and demanding money for bad checks?  Who purchases a brand new car, and writes a check....?  A brand new Expedition?  How did he get away with it for months?  The dealership accepted it?  And it took THAT long to find out?  I still don't know.  Anyway, near the end, he "claimed" that the state froze all of his assets because of some stupid thing that I can't even remember now.  And payroll was fast approaching.  How was he going to pay the office staff?  Or the ones who were supposedly in Norwalk, CT (an office I never went to, because I had to wait in the car?)  But since he was so sly, and charming, and I was totally oblivious to all of this, I foolishly drained my bank account so those employees wouldn't go without, and I figured, when his huge accounts get cleared, he'll reimburse me.  Not at all.

In the meantime, one of my good friends, and her sister were unemployed, and both needed an easy job that would work around their childrens schedules.  So, he had them work in Derby, CT for about a week, and then looked at office space in Hamden, MA to expand his buisness.  He promised them company cars, which we all went to Balise Ford in Wilbraham to look at Explorers.  They were excited too!  After they had run to the town hall, had meetings, did everything they could to get the business going, (while we were in CT), they began to question.  God if I was only that smart.  They ended up quitting.  I felt terrible.  But then we spoke.  They did more research than I had ever thought of doing.  They demanded their pay for their work, and wanted to just end their contact.  This was hard for me too, as they were my friends, and this was my partner!  The straw that broke the camels back, finally, was when he sent them each, a check for $1,000.00.....and needless to say it bounced.  That began our fight, and my eye opening experience.  I demanded he find a way to pay them, since my account was now completely dried out and even I just couldn't help them.  He did.  He wrote his poor grandmother a check, for the amount PLUS, and he wrote HER a check.  Explaining to her that he didn't have the funds until "Monday" or whatever it was.  She paid my friends.  They received their money.  Sadly, days later his grandmothers account was overdrawn and she had no money to get her medications, and she needed them.  Who saved the day?  Yep, that would be me.  I made money to help HER out.

I finally sought legal advice and was told all I could do is file criminal charges, but had to prove it and call the Better Business Bureau.  I did.  I also went to all the little "mom and pop" shops he scammed.  I, had his checkbook carbon copies.  Many of these companies were not going to fight it, because most of them were only for $20 or less.  It didn't take much convincing for them to understand they needed to press charges.  Last I heard, he was picked up in Shelton, at an apartment he rented after he was thrown OUT of my place, and was charged with impersonation, illegal guns, etc.....  He no sooner had his day in court, and as he exited the courthouse, Derby police snagged him on the courthouse lawn.  Nice!  So, about $16,000.00 later......and fake employees being paid, I have never seen my money again.  What is even worse, is I've taken out this hurt and humiliation, on my relationships since, and more worse, the love of my life right now.  He doesn't deserve to be a victim because of Jeoff.  Excuse me, "Doug".  So Jeoff, if you are out there (last I knew you were in Florida), and you can read this, you are a loser scumbag!  I hope you are taking the big ten with Bubba tonight!  You are a rotten human being.  You betrayed me, you betrayed a lot of people.  Julianne, LeeAnne, Kathy, and myself all wish you a greased up time in your cell.  Now that I have come clean, laid this horror memory to rest, I will continue on with my life.  You are no longer a part of my past, present, and certainly not future.  I am burying you where you are, so I can finally move on with my life, and not have the haunts of you there.  Rot.............

I am not going to say who i am ,

But i will have you Know that Doug has been serving Time in prison since the winter of 2005 right after christmas, he has been in and out of prison since he was 18 he really is a good guy but he has schitsofrenia and when he's up he's reallly up. I myself have fell for many of his scams and can honestly say he owes me somewhere along the lines of 10K now. Doug isn't scheduled to get out of jail until 2013 where he will be under my care and working for me in a office as a dispatcher. with zero access to any funds or records i have known him for years and know how to handle him so it's safe to say this will never happen again to anybody. Now that he has a record no one will hire him except for mcdonalds.. and i want him to have a good life i mean for god sakes he saw his 21rst , 25th birthday and his 30th behind bars. He will have a hard time when he gets out. I'm not sure if we ever met but your name does sound familier.
