Complaint Review: Douglas Jeep Chrysler Dodge RAM

Beware of Tim, the service manager.  He and an unknown ally in the parts department are running scams against the elderly of the area.  They offer to "buy" parts from an outside source to help out the elderly and save them money.  The victims are asked to bring in cash and pay it directly to Tim.  Tim then takes the vehicle and supposedly performs the repairs and returns it personally.  3 times in a row there was another problem found.  The victim was also not given any receipt or paperwork for the work completed.  The excuse, he was doing a favor and couldn't put it in the computer because the dealership would know he cut someone a break.  The work is also not listed in the vehicle history through Jeep's system.  After the third such incident the vehicle in question was taken to another well known auto repair shop without telling them of any previous problem diagnosis.  It was returned with a clean bill of health.  This service isusing his position to scam money out of the pockets of elderly widows and widowers.  As smooth as he acts this is not a first time scammer.  Beware.
