Doug Rutt was hired on Jan 29, 2018 To build some custom closets. He brought in an informal contract and signed it and requested a 50% deposit which I gave. About $320. He did a bit of work of poor quality and then left to get coffee. And took all his tools. He then tried to renegotiate for more money while he was out and I said no. So he never returned and didn’t return my deposit. Left work incomplete. Put us in a lot of inconvenience. Now he ignores my texts and calls. I think he plays scams like this on others. Beware.
