purchase this product to use as an insturment of being able to keep up my finiances while i was working as a comerrical truck driver stay out on the road for three to four weeks at a time .
the data feed for this was so slow that it just would not allow me to use as a tool for my business. i ask them to cancel the contract to no avail. they said i waited to long to notfie them of the problem. i cou;ld have cancel within 14 days not not 21 days so it seem to me custormer service have rules chizel in stone.
they want me to pay 50.00 a month for a product that will not perform the service that was implicated to me at time of purchase .
i drive a commerical which is over 65 feet in link so its kinder hard to find a place to park in front of a verizion store also they said i could have call .i did not have a customer service phone number with me
so this company is riping off people left and right t seem that the bigger the company the more they can steal from the privite individual and get away with it

Just about every communications provider has a period to allow you to try out their service and determine if it will suit your needs and location. The idea behind this is that you get to verify that the service is acceptable before the long term contract kicks in.
Verizon's trial period is 14 days. Because you chose to ignore it, you now get to keep the contract or pay the early termination fee. Those are the same rules for everybody, including me. No doubt everyone who wants out of their contract has a story about how special their circumstances are. Your story is not that compelling (didn't know the Customer Service number, really?).
Sorry, but ths doesn't describe a ripoff. At best it's a whining rant from someone who thinks the rules should not apply to them. You are not that special.
