Dr. Cathy Emerewa and her practice - United Family - was a client of my company.

We provide virtual assistant and reception services to her office and worked with her for a few months. Her office manager was very difficult to work with. We never even communicated with Dr. Cathy until the end of her contract.

Dr. Cathy's manager cancelled our services, knowing that there was an outstanding invoice due of over $1500. Dr. Cathy and I spoke on the phone and she decided not to cancel, making their invoice higher because they would owe for the new month plus overages. I revised the invoice and sent to her. We tried to process the credit card on file for these charges and it was declined.

A few days later, we realized was saying she would continue with us just to put off paying our invoice. I again corrected their invoice for just the overages due and emailed to her. She responded stating 'I will take care of it'.

I tried to make it easy for her, ask to give us a new cc or mail a check for the outstanding balance. We waited for 30 days and now are persuing colleciton and legal efforts to recoup our money.

Dr. Cathy and her manager, ignore my emails and calls. They do not respond to my collection agency, or my attorney. I am hoping she will see this and do the right thing.

My team was paid for their time working for her company, but my company is left holding the bag.

I have also seen awful reviews of her medical abilities and her office staff by patients.

I would recommend not working with her as a service provider or a patient.

All we want is the money to pay for the overages that her office incurred.
