RUN!!! Do not walk away from Dr D Ivan Young, RUN. This so called "Dr" provided services to my family and was totally unethical to the point i had to consult my attorney because he exposed confidential information and committed other acts that were not at all in line with what a real professional would ever do. We researched this man and his degrees are from online schools which can be okay except that his school provided no actual counseling training or licensing, he got those online also from easily obtained programs when we called to ask criteria. He is someone setting up shop with no real skills and using the media to help perpetrate his fraud. He speaks well and presents a confident image to make you believe he's the real deal but trust me everything that glitters ain't gold.

I was not made aware of anything from Ripoff Report until I stumbled on it by accident the second week in August 2014. No one from this website ever contacted me. I contacted them. But, the “alleged” complainant refused to leave any contact information. I have an open door policy. The business of Relationships comes with inherent risk. But as it is commonly known, that no-one can make someone stay in a relationship with them, nor can we undo the hurt, pain, and emotional damage people cause other people.

It is unfortunate that someone, who I don’t know, have never met, or coached, someone who wishes to remain anonymous, would choose to allegedly suggest that I would engaged in things that I would never do nor condone. As with most things, when one’s desired outcome to reconcile a relationship fails, it’s not uncommon for people to look for someone to blame. I have been in practice over 10 years without having one complaint.

As with most human beings, seldom do people take responsibility for their own contribution to their problems. Often that ends up being the clinician, therapist, clergy, counselor or coach who was engaged in the attempt at reconciliation. As a brand, moreover a brand which bears my given name, my first concern is the well being of my client. Never would I at any time, under any circumstances disclose matters discussed in confidence.

Please note - All information is privileged and confidential. However, as with most other professional advisors and clinicians a Coach must disclose information brought to his/her attention when a child under the age of eighteen years of age, or a person with cognitive or physical disabilities, or an elderly person, has been, or is being physically abused, or neglected, or subject to a threat of harm.

If there is a client out there who has, or had, an issue with me, I’m easily accessible. I can be reached directly on my website. “ALL” of my clients are given my personal cell phone number and my private email. Also, I can easily be found on every common social media platform including Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, and Twitter. Lastly, I’m saddened that someone is in such a state of anger and despair that would attempt to use my name, or my brand as a scapegoat. But it happens everyday.

Long ago I accepted the fact that when you work with people, sooner or later something weird can happen. If this anonymous person would come forth I will gladly do whatever it takes, within my power, to help them. My goal professionally and personally is to create, cultivate and facilitate lasting, transparent, meaningful relationships. As for my credentials, they are bona fide, up to date, and in order. My door is open.

sincerely,

Dr. D Ivan Young
