I was changing doctors in the middle of my 9 month allergy treatment. Dr. Schreiber's office staff said the first time I had to come in and have an appointment, which I would be charged, to do the paperwork as a new patient and release to get my medical records as well as viyls of the medicine I am being treated. I called again talking to Dr. Douglas Schreiber himself that said "No.

You can come in and sign a release form and we can get your viyls and medical records before you make an appointment. There is no need to come in before I can treat you." I went in and signed the release. Two weeks later, the nurse manager calls me and said they got my medical records and cannot get the medicine from my old doctor until I start to see Dr. Schreiber.

I asked her, so I have to pay for appointments to basically do nothing since I am already tested and in treatment? She said "Yes it is our company policy you see him for two appointments before we get the medicine and start treatment." I told her, "I do not appreciate you lying to me. Dr. Schreiber is the doctor so he knows better how it works." She kept repeating "That is company policy." I told her in between two times of saying it, "I want your manager" and she still could not saying anything else.

She one time did say something different which was "My manager is not available," which was after I told her I can report Dr. Schreiber for unethical practice and the Texas Medical Board will hold him responsible revoking his license. I asked her three times to have Dr. Schrieber himself call me and she went back to repeating "That is company policy." She eventually said, "If you will not come in to two appointments so that we can send for your viyls before the third appointment, then we will not take you as a new patient.

We do not have to treat you." They are liars, broken records, self conflicting and scamming "professionals." Don't see him unless you want to be scammed at the first two appointments trusting the third will have your treatment. Scamming the first two times, I would recommend not to go at all because you do not know that he will not scam at the third or whole time in treatment.
