Complaint Review: DR. MARC KERNER - DERMATIQUE

I went to Kerner in May 2006, shortly after my wife had a procedure done (see letter from Anna), to get a lower face lift and a lower and upper eye lift. This was Kerner's recommendation to get the results I wanted. He even asked for a younger picture of myself and commented that it was no problem to get me to look like my old self.

A year later I looked like I should have a lower and upper eye lift, as he had only managed to get rid of the bags under my eyes. My upper eyes looks as if they had not been touched and the wrinkles I have in lower eyes should not be there if he had done the procedure properly.

He had to suck out the fat from under my chin, which now is lopsided. He took more fat from one side than the other. To make matters worse, he sewed into a nerve behind my ears and I have to be careful when I comb my hair.

I never had sagging skin (probably from the fat I had in there) but I do now! My face looks a little better but certainly not what he told me to expect and certainly not worth close to $16,000.00.

He tried to appease me when I went back to tell him I was not happy with what he had done and he told me that I need a brow lift. Whoa! I went by his recommendation and now I have to fork out more money for a brow lift?

Well, he said, I can fix some of the problem with laser treatments. 3 treatments later, (for about 10 minutes each) there was no change. Did he care? No, he had my money and that's all he cares about.

I sent him a letter asking for my money back and left several phone messages, all of which he ignored.

In my opinion this man is a fraud and a butcher and after what he did to my wife and me, he should be put out of business.
