EXTREME WARNING!!! The doctor named Mark Nunez there is psychopathic! He might be passively trying to kill your pets. Don’t ask whether it makes sense or not: that is what a psychopathic personality does. Don't expect it will be upfront and straightforward. A master is always skilled at doing it in a artful way that you will think him quite on the other end. Extreme bad always cover them as extreme good. That is an unchanging principle.

If you love your pets and don't want them get killed by Mark Nunez, run, run fast!!!!

By instinct I would never trust that a clinic in hollywood would have a serious veterinary care center. But after reading a review list I gave it a try a year ago. It turns out to be a completely shity place as I would have imagined.

A doctor named Mark Nunez there is an evil and might have tried to passively kill my pet by being misleading on the exam results. He told me my cat is fine and now when I am having trouble getting insurance and I am referring that he said my cat is fine. Though now I heard from his staffs he said he is not sure now. I ask if he is not sure then why he told me my cat is ok. The staffs say they don’t know and then trying to shut down the communication by stopping me from talking to the doctor or anyone else. And it is extremely shady that whenever a staff talked to him, the staffs would disappear and they would either not call me as they said and of course the doctor will never call back as requested many times.

I have noticed his weird behavior throughout the one year course: he wouldn’t even give me lab exam result. You know when you have an exam, the doctor will call you to tell you the result is out? He never even called for that. I placed multiple calls and they say the doctor will give me a call and he never do. Until numerous try or I have to walk to their office, he finally sent me the result. It is quite weird he won’t do normal things a doctor is supposed to do.

I can’t believe this evil psychopathic doctor is trying to put my baby’s health at jeopardy. Definitely going after suing them. Must post this so consumers will be better informed and avoid their situation being jeopardized!!

Terrible Vet

I am adding my experience because I had multiple bad experiences with Mark Nunez and I find it falling that people are dismissing this person account of how this vet behaved simply because he is their vet. I am a dog trainer and I work with numerous vets throughout Los Angeles and Malibu. I work with a wide range of vets, from high end concierge vets to holistic vets who provide alternative treatments like acupuncture/homeopathy and Mark Nunez is by far the worst vet I have ever interacted with. He was not only awful to two of my clients randomly assigned to him when the Veterinary Care Center first opened but his was truly odious to me personally. If his rudeness toward humans was trumped by his ability I would not bother to comment- but based on my experiences with him, he skill and knowledge is subpar. Because of his disastrous treatment recommendations, one of my clients dogs is permanently partially disabled. When we attempted to question him he was insulting. After weeks of him being pushy and even harassing my client when he called to request another vet be put on his account and to make a note not to allow Nunez to care for his dog- Nunez continued to force himself into the treatment and even subverted the instructions of the vet who took over (Dr Yuon, who is a wonderful and knowledgeable veterinarian). I have never seen anything like it. Nor have I ever encountered a worse vet with poorer people skills. I personally thought he make have a serious personality disorder based on his manipulative actions and threatening manner of speaking to me. I am sorry for your loss and I believe what you outlined as you’re experience.

An Outrageous Smear

My wife and I have used Dr. Nunez for all of our pets, for many many years.  This extends up to today, when our beloved Corgi, Indy, had to be put to sleep because of massive kidney failure.  Dr. Nunez is a wonderful doctor and a very kind person, who has had great personal affection for our pets, whom he has known since puppyhood.  I do not know what kind of sick, vindictive person filed this complaint, but they have to be a very horrible person to have maligned a fine doctor in this manner, and should be ashamed of themselves.

This must be the employee who has disappeared earlier upon seeing Mark Nunez's supicious behaviors. Geeez. Is it because Mark Nunez now unfortanately got cancer? That is too bad...

This person may not have had a good experience regarding her beloved cat, but I find it completely unfounded that anyone would say anything but positive remarks about Dr. Mark Nunez.  He has been my vet for over 15 years. IHe calls to check up on my animals when they've been sick, has emailed me lab test results, gone over x-rays with me... and has suffered my cat peeing all over him. He's doctored one diabetic dog, another rescue dog who had men issues, at least 2 feral cats and my indoor cats.  He's sat with me through 3 euthanisias when it was time for my elderly and sick dogs and cat to stop their suffereing.

As far as any insurance for pets goes, it is fraud for any doctor... human or animal, to say there is not a pre-existing condition when an animal/patient's history is written in charts and documented from every visit in order to get health insurance.  I'm willing to bet that there was a preexisting condition and this person didn't want to tell the insurance company it existed in order to get coverage and therefore was unable to get total health insurance.  This is a vicious, vindictive and hateful report about a wonderful veterinarian.
