I received an email stating there were shipping delays, open-ended, so I responded to the email (as instructed in the email) on Friday at 1:46 pm California time.  Nevertheless, without an answer or acknowledgment, I received another email two days later stating that the order was shipped.

When I called, I was told the order could not be rescinded. Two days later.  I had to pay for return shipping at a cost of over $60.00!  This is despite my obvious, written, time-stamped cancellation email two days prior to the shipping notice. 

The support center told me it was company policy for all "returns."  Of course, there was plenty of time to cancel the order or, at the very least, acknowledge their customer service lapse and accept responsibility for the return shipping cost.
