A Dr. Mavis Johnson (dr_mavisjohnson@yahoo.co.uk) has been sending out emails from a forged IP address. Subject is "BE OUR PARTNER 10% Job Offer."
It is a common scam. After offering bogus excuses as to why the "Mavis Johnson Fabrics and Textiles" company cannot establish an office or a bank account in the US, the email offers you the opportunity to cash a certified check or money order, keep 10%, then forward the proceeds via Western Union or "Money Gramme."
Email claims that the average monthly income is $4,000 working only 3-7 hours per week!
Email is full of grammatical errors. A web search for "Mavis Johnson Fabrics and Textiles" has negative results.
Don't fall for this one!

They have changed there name it is now Micheal Zinn at metrotextile limited. They sent me one too. I went ahead and had them send me the traveler checks. I did not cash them handed them over to the FBI. I know they were counterfit. He sent me 3500.00. At least I got the 3500.00 so no one else will. I would not want any one else riped off. It was sent from South Carlina. every one beware the name will change but the scam is the same.
