DOES MANY SURGICAL PROCEDURES, ONE PATIENT AFTER ANOTHER. IN HIS OFFICE, I.V. SEDATION USING OLD EQUIPMENT. THIS ROOM IS SO CROWDED THE "SEDATION NURSE" IS PUSHED AGAINST MY HEAD !. MY WIFE SAW EVERYONE IN STREET SHOES. ONLY DR. CASTELLANOS WORE GLOVES. THE WRONG CHART WAS HANDED TO DR. CASTELLANOS AND HE PUT "A WIRE" INTO MY SPINE !! HE DID "LYSIS OF ADHEASONS" I WAS THERE FOR A DIFFERENT PROCEDURE !!!. HOLLERING AND THROWING OF CHARTS FOLLOWED, WE FOUND OUT THAT IN THE USA, YOU CAN'T DO THIS SURGERY UNLESS YOU ARE IN A REAL HOSPITAL. A REAL SEPERATE LICENSED ANASTESIA DOCTOR MUST BE THERE ALSO !!! (THE REAL ANASTESIA DOCTORS WORK ONLY IN A REAL SURGICAL HOSPITAL). 4 HOURS LATER, I WAS RUSHED TO SOUTH MIAMI HOSPITAL AND DR. CASTTELLANOS NEVER CALLED THE ER OR THE HOSPITAL BACK!!! EVER !! I WAS THERE FOR DAYS !! 1 YEAR LATER I STILL HURT SO BAD !!!
MY NEW DOCTORS STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT WAS DONE TO ME THAT DAY. DR. CASTELLANOS REFUSES TO GIVE US OUR RECORDS. WE FOUND OUT THAT MANY PATIENTS ARE HURT AND UNHAPPY. SEE M.D. RATINGS. FOR RAMON CASTELLANOS MD, THE TRUTH IS THERE !! DON'T GET HURT. HE DID NOT EVEN GO TO TO A U.S. STANDARD MEDICAL SCHOOL. YOU MUST HAVE A REAL SURGICAL DOCTOR TO BE LEGAL AND SAFE !! DON'T GET HURT !!!

I was the Practice Manager for Dr. Ramon Castellanos in a couple of occaciones for the past few years, first came in contact with him while working for Mercy Hospital as a Float Manager and later while he was on private care I manage his office for a few months before moving to another state. Its my feeling that this complaint is the act of an agravated ex that wants to doom Dr. Castellanos reputation, anyone that knows him also knows of his integrity, his williness to help anyone that comes thru his door and his humble begining, as a top orthopeadic surgeon in his native Cuba, came to the US and was able to get his boards and with hard work while raising a familly.
This allegations states;
1- The office has small, I can offer you pictures taken of the office that show an excellent well distribute office.
2- Charts where incorrect - Dr. Castellanos for the past 10 years has use Electronic Medical Records, using the same records during his employment at Mercy hospital and later back on private care.
3- Does many procedures together - Dr. Castellanos schedules according to his patients needs, he ussualy does his procedures on one day where it's just dedicate to that and morning patient are those that will require a light anesthetic, note there is only IV sedation use in his office and by a qualify individual.
4- Staff qualification: His clinical staff is highly qualify and I'm sure if asked he will gladly provide all credentials.
5- Medical Records: The office has always release records upon patients or insurance request, there is a protocol to follow but even the patient that saw him at prior office his has always being willing to provide any records while asked appropiately.
I'm sure Dr. Castellanos has long standing patient that can attest on his behalf, thru my years of working with him I saw countless grateful patient, those who came in on wheelchair and had him as his last hope and after a few months where able to walk out of his office. He has a website where you can see pictures of his office and all that he does, he host a radio program on Tuesday. He help those who are in need by decreasing his prices or doing procedures without cost or very minimal for those without insurance that are in need. I feel this is the work of someone that right around that time was not happy with him but at the personal level, someone that was not happy and decided that this was an excellent retribution. I'm requesting a full investigation in to this matter and the removal from your website, as I believe this to be an insult to someone who has devoted his life to help other and find ways to help other. His website has patients testimony with their information in case you need to contact them, as well as videos.
Please let me know the outcome of your investigation.

WOW.....Im sorry you're in so much pain......that bytes. Ive been there myself..pain is never easy to deal with. But...I do have a couple questions for you.
WHY did you ALLOW this procedure after you'd seen the layout....or lack thereof?
WHY did you ALLOW him to even touch you? You had to have known all was not as it seemed when you walked in the door. You certainly wouldnt go to the mall and have brain surgery .....yet that's basically what you did here.
Ive had back surgeries and am in constant pain....every day in every way and yet.....I would never consider even for a moment letting some quack near me like you have in this instance.
bottom line is I am sorry you're in soooooo much pain
