Dr. Rebecca Castaneda's dental office serves as a front for investment scam(s).  Dr. Castaneda befriends her patients and associates and lures them into investing in her male friend Athisayaraj "Raj" Mahadevan's investment scam Altos Escondidos.

Dr. Castaneda has gone so far as to lie and say she is investing her own money in Raj's projects, but when asked to provide evidence refused to do so.

These con artists will make false promises to Double your money in 12 months.

They'll take your money and leave you empty handed laughing all the way to the bank.

Dr. Castaneda lacks integrity enlisting her few friends to post positive reviews of her on YELP going so far as to post positive review of herself.  She was stupid enough to use her own name and picture.  Just scroll all the way to the bottom of her YELP reviews and look at the reviews that are not currently recommended.

The Marin DA went after Castaneda on another matter several years ago:

Stay clear of this psychopath.

Why???

Dr. Rebecca Castaneda:  if you're such a successful dentist, then why do you post fake reviews on YELP about yourself??? Being in your sixties, shouldn't you have an established practice by now?  Why do you have to offer a special on YELP???  Oh I know, you're paying them to remove all the negative reviews about you on their site.  One reviewer called you that ugly c*** that illegally chopped down those trees in your neighborhood.  You sure have a lot of haters.

Yeah - why would you be so stupid to risk your reputation like that.

I have the email you sent me about Jes Black, Raj Mahadevan, the email I sent you asking for proof that you did invest your own money which you ignored.  A private investigator was hired proving all my allegations about you, Jes Black and Raj Mahadevan are true.  I also have letter from Jeffrey Ross Williams, a disgraced and disbarred lawyer that you and Raj engaged to get me to back off including documents from the Bar Council supporting me.  If you truly felt you were a "victim" why would you engage a disbarred lawyer to pose as a lawyer to come after me.  He may never get to practice law again because of you and Raj.

I also have copy of that email you sent your friends to post positive reviews about you on YELP.

Besides its no secret that you have a reputation for inviting patients and associates to presentations in your office regarding risky business opportunities.

Why would a successful profession risk her license for such a scam?

Engaging in scams such as the one described by the author of this report would put my professional license at risk. Why in the world would I do that after 25 successful years in practice? The California Dental Board will confirm my good standing. If the alleged scam were true, then the Dental Board would have grounds to immediately suspend my license. Dr. Castaneda
